Sculptor of poems
Tara’s work immortalises intimacy, a plea for moments to exist beyond the present.
Sculptural poems that inhabit the feral pulse of being - intimacy, sensuality, longing, and the body as a site of becoming. The body is abstracted and fragmented into forms that are tender and raw with surfaces marked by cellulite, folds, and soft perfection. Tara’s sculptures explore how desire, memory, and identity inscribe themselves into flesh.
Together, they are a constellation of bodies orbiting in the dimension between reality and fantasy. Body becomes clay, clay becomes body. A whisper that we are all human, yearning for more. Intimacy becomes public, making visible what is often hidden.
After all, we are all living poems.
